This folder and six card set was so much fun! It is for my friend Pam (P from the Lovely Letters set) who will be home for the next few weeks resting! This is so simple to make, using one 8.5 X 11 inch card stock, use bone folder to score down middle of long side, then score 3" above bottom edge on long side to create pockets. Decorate front as you like, add jumbo brads using the Crop-A-Dile and thread ribbon through to tie up in bow. The cards are made by using the Say It With Scallops Ronald McDonald House set, Close to Cocoa, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White, along with Baja Breeze print papers and Riding Hood Red Ink. I also stamped a small medallion from the Baroque Motifs set in Baja Breeze on the envelopes in the lower left corner. Such a sweet touch and hope to bring our USPS people a smile!

Fun Projects.....Lots of Therapy too!

I just love these colors together, basic grey and baja breeze...I had so much fun playing with my Big Shot and the birds and branches die!! The paper out of the mini occasions is so fun too!! I made these bookmarks for my bible study class and the ladies LOVED them! I hope you do too! The pink pirouette Happy Birthday card was made using Bella DSP, felt flowers and riding hood red satin ribbon. I just love the pacific point color and felt the gatefold was perfect for the new Very Versatile set coming out on April 1. You can order off my website www.lea.stampinup.net 24 hours a day, seven days a week!

The left lane is for passing.....
So, I have finally created my blog...it's something I thought about for several months before actually gettin' 'er done. I live in the Dallas area...I drive for about 2 hours everyday on the freeway or parking lot, depending on time of day. It makes me crazy when people drive slowly in the left lane. I know, you say, well we are driving the speed LIMIT...yes, maybe so, but you are also causing major traffic congestion. Have you ever noticed how people are driving faster than you? Have you ever seen that line of cars stalled out behind you? Have you ever seen people passing you on the right, just to zoom back in front of you and move on down the road? If you haven't seen these things and are driving slower in the left lane, then open your eyes darlin' and look behind you with that rearview mirror installed front and center. You are the number cause of traffic jams in the heavy flow of traffic, you are a hazardous driver, and most importantly you are blocking the flow of emergency vehicles. Yes, I saw this one day as I was driving home. A person was driving in the left lane, an ambulance came upon them and they did not move over. I hope that if my family; or I am in that ambulance, you will get your slow happy butt over to the right or center lane and let it go by. I also hope that you are reading this and will make a decision to be a better driver by moving to the center lane, right lane or get off the freeway since you aren't staying with the flow of traffic. I see this every day and I also see why people get road raged....and trust me, a road raged, hormonal female is not good for anyone.
